The homemade breakfast was a delightful surprise with a variety of hearty options that truly exceeded my expectations.
The lobby wasn't open for the early morning check-in, which caused a slight delay in my plans.

Becky welcomed us warmly and accommodated our ocean view request, which made a huge difference. The room felt comfortable, especially the beds, perfect for winding down after travels. I enjoyed an invigorating hot bath with plenty of hot water. The heater worked effectively, keeping the room cozy. Beautiful views of the Gualala River meeting the Pacific Ocean added to our experience. The team shared great local trail information, and one morning we even got breakfast items to go, considering our early event. That was a thoughtful touch. However, there were some repairs needed in the room. the tub drain was missing, and a mirror could use replacement. These issues detracted slightly from our otherwise delightful stay.

Great views of the ocean from the rooms. gas fireplace adds a nice ambiance.
Room felt dated with an old-school television, and noise from the nearby highway when windows were open could be bothersome. Area needs some updates as the facility shows signs of wear and tear.

missingWrote a review on May 26ocean viewslovely gardenscluttered propertymarshy viewhighway noise
The ocean views, especially the stunning sunsets, were a highlight during the stay. While the gardens offered a lovely atmosphere, the river view was more marshy than expected, slightly detracting from the experience. The property felt a bit cluttered due to the owner's antique collection, which might not appeal to everyone. Hearing noise from the nearby highway was another downside, which could impact the overall tranquility.
